The Commander Islands (Comandorsky State Nature Reserve)

The Commander Islands is part of the Tentative list of Russia in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

The Commander Islands archipelago is a group of treeless, sparsely populated islands in the Bering Sea. The islands see 203 bird species, including some American ones. Marine mammal life is rich, while terrestrial mammals are limited to the arctic fox (and some introduced species like reindeer).
